A bald eagle crashed into a window at a Palo Alto residence, shattering the glass.

Officials responded to a report in the Greenmeadow neighborhood after residents found the eagle in their backyard. It had flown into a window and shattered it, Palo Alto Animal Control wrote in an“The officers thought that surely the report of an eagle was incorrect, and the bird was most likely a hawk or owl, you know, something more common,” PAAC said in the post.
