The bakery is preparing to open its forth site
A Bolton-based bakery loved by a string of celebs has announced the opening of a new store - near a football stadium. Carrs Pasties will open its forth store in the Middlebrook Retail Leisure Park in Horwich later this year.
The new shop will offer the Carrs core range of pasties including meat and potato, cheese and steak, alongside sandwiches, salads, cakes, snacks and cold drinks, while hot drinks will be provided by Second City Coffee. Customers of the Middlebrook shop will also be able to order online for click-and-collect and on delivery platforms including UberEats, Deliveroo, JustEat and Too Good To Go.Over the past 85 years, Carrs' delicious pastries have won the hearts of many Boltonians.
In 2017 Carrs also began a sponsorship with Bolton Wanderers FC and opened the Carrs Pasties Family Stand. In 2020, a nationwide delivery service was also launched by the company, and last year it received planning permission to convert the former G4S building at the back of its current premises on Summerfield Road into new headquarters and offices.
"Opening a store there represents an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with Bolton Wanderers Football Club - where we are currently sponsors of the Family Stand – and the community around Horwich and the surrounding areas.
