Avicii Heaven music video weaves in old vacation footage of the late producer
It's hard to lose a friend, but the ones we love live forever in our hearts and minds. Director Levan Tsikurishvili holds memories of his close friend very dear, and because he spent years filming his friend, he can easily share those moments with the late musician's millions of fans.
"Heaven" brings us all a little closer to Avicii with an intimate music video. Tsikurishvili and his friend visited the African island of Madagascar in 2016, soon after the DJ gave his final performance in Ibiza. After his posthumous album was released earlier this month, Tsikurishvili returned to recapture the places and things from his memory. The old vacation footage and new shots were compiled into a touching music video in honor of the beloved producer.
