An Avatar: The Last Airbender fan created a life-sized replica of Appa, Aang's flying bison from the original cartoon series. Appa is a key character in Avatar: The Last Airbender, as he is the last surviving flying bison following the Air Nomad Genocide that left the world void of all airbenders except for Aang. The loyal bison acted as Aang and his group's mode of transport throughout the series as Aang learned to master elemental bending.
A TikTok video from Avatar: The Last Airbender fan BrazenMonkey reveals his life-sized Appa replica, which he is seen riding on top of. Following the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender, it was revealed that Appa was not the last surviving flying bison, with others of his kind soon populating now-empty air temples. Because of this, Appa's species were able to live on, with Aang's companion cemented as the most important of his kind in history.
