Police and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers are calling on the community to help find a suspect accused of shooting and killing a woman in early June.

Columbus police and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers are asking the community for tips to help find a suspect accused ofPolice were called to an apartment complex the 3000 block of Colony Lake Court on June 5 just before 1 p.m. where a shooting was reported.

A 20-year-old woman identified as Kennedy Cowans was found shot. Cowans was taken to Mount Carmel East where she later died. Witnesses told authorities they heard Cowans arguing with the suspect, 28-year-old Miles Gibson before hearing a gunshot. Gibson is wanted for one count of homicide, and police warn that he is considered armed and dangerous.If you have information that can help authorities find Gibson, you're asked to call Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614 461-8477 or submit an anonymous tip online at
