Bestselling author Louise Penny will visit Dallas for a launch event for her new novel,. She’ll speak with fellow writer Deborah Crombie as part of Arts & Letters Live on Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at Moody Performance Hall, 2520 Flora St., in Dallas.
Crombie — who was born in Dallas, raised in Richardson and lives in McKinney — is the bestselling author of the Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James mystery series. Penny is an eight-time winner of the Agatha Award, for mystery and crime writing, and was a finalist for the Edgar Award for best novel. Penny, who lives in a small village south of Montreal, was also co-author with Hillary Rodham Clinton of the bestselling thriller, based on Penny’s books and starring Alfred Molina as Gamache, is scheduled to debut Dec. 2 on Amazon Prime Video.
