Sanchez is giving back to the community who helped him become the athlete he is today.
The former Eagle is helping strength and conditioning coach/offensive coordinator Joshua Stump with SAC camp this summer. It was a no brainer when Stump called Sanchez about helping the Eagles this summer.
Sanchez played two seasons at Henderson State and now will play at East Central in the fall looking to use his two years of eligibility that he has left due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “It’s about developing everyone,” said Sanchez about summer workouts. “Not the guys who already know how to get bigger, faster and stronger, but to help the guys who were like me. I didn’t have all the talent, but I worked hard at the little things to make me a better player. Some of these guys just need a little more guidance and I’m glad to help them out.”
