“It’s truly an honor, blessing to come back and have my jersey retired,” Green said. “It’s not a lot of people that can say that. It’s a blessing, exciting.”Last week, Kingwood retired Travis Swanson’s jersey at halftime of the Mustangs’ District 21-6A game against Humble at Turner Stadium. Green was drafted by his hometown Houston Texans with the 15th overall pick and is starting at guard.
