His runway shows were always guaranteed to be colorful, playful, and fun—a reminder that fashion shouldn’t be so serious. Nowhere was this more apparent on the red carpet. Scott has dressed some of the biggest celebrities of the decade in his cheeky, whimsical designs.
Musicians in particular have been drawn to Scott’s Moschino designs—perhaps because performers are all about theand theatricality. Lizzo always does his garments justice. Her best Moschino moment was at the 2020 Brit Awards, when she showed up inthat mimicked a Hershey's candy wrapper. Irreverent and smile-inducing, it exemplified Scott’s work. Now that Moschino’s got an open slot to fill, one can only hope that whichever designer steps into his shoes will be just as down for a laugh.
