At least 7 people injured in shooting at suburban Denver school, police say

Holly Nicholson-Kluth, undersheriff for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, said at a briefing that seven people were injured, possibly eight. She said the shooting started in the middle school portion of the campus, and an administrator called police after hearing shots. She said two suspects were arrested. She said she believes they are juveniles but was unsure if they attended the school.Nicholson-Kluth said her agency has a substation blocks away from the school and responded quickly.
The Colorado shooting happened a week after two students were killed in a shooting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
