The Astros fail to score with a runner on in the eighth. Ryan Pressly is in to pitch the ninth inning with the score tied 5-5 and a save situation no longer in the cards. —Phillies manager Rob Thomson is pulling out the stops tonight against the Astros' lefthanded hitters.

After starting the fifth with a strikeout of Jeremy Peña, Aaron Nola was lifted as Rob Thomson went with lefty Jose Alvarado to face Yordan Alvarez. Alvarez popped to third, and Alex Bregman struck out. As we go to the sixth with the game tied at 5, Bryan Abreu is replacing Astros starter Justin Verlander. In 33 postseason innings this year, the Astros bullpen has allowed three earned runs for a 0.82 ERA.
