Ubisoft has revealed Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s ‘History of Baghdad’ feature, an interactive way to learn about the game’s setting that's tied to player progression
Billed as an interactive way to learn about the history, art and culture of Baghdad and the Abbasid Caliphate circa the ninth century, it’s integrated into the main game and tied to player progression, with an in-game reward unlocked for protagonist Basim once completed.
Players can visit 66 historical sites throughout Baghdad, where they’ll unlock research-driven articles covering five areas: art and science, belief and daily life, court life, economy and government.the feature has been crafted in collaboration with historians and expert advisors, and is illustrated with images selected from the collections of eminent museums and institutions.
