Sharpay is finally getting her due
For those who need a refresh, Sharpay Evans was Ashley Tisdale's fabulous popular girl character in Disney Channel's an unearthed video of Sharpay and her brother Ryan performing "What I've Been Looking For"
as their winter musical audition song in the 2006 film. The clip got tens of thousands of retweets, and an influx of support for Sharpay, who was portrayed as the villain in the movie. "Sharpay wasn’t the villain she put her blood sweat and tears into theater and didn’t want someone who wasn’t all about it to take her crown especially two people who wasn’t even reliable to show up," one user wrote. As a reminder, Zac Efron's Troy and Vanessa Hudgens' Gabriella were late to their final musical audition because of other after-school activities.
