Russian President Vladimir Putin abolished 'some special economic measures' against Turkey, just as his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump was reportedly fighting to stop new sanctions against Ankara.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has lifted some economic restrictions imposed on Turkey, which recently bought one of Moscow's state-of-the-art missile systems in a move set to trigger sanctions from the United States.

"There may be some things like free trade agreements being talked about," Perdue added."There's a possibility that you have to bring Russia into some kind of conversation about what their position is in the Middle East—they want trade, they want some kind of commerce with us, too."
