Late on Thursday, the prosecutor’s office released a statement confirming that it was “one of the friends” who delivered the fatal blow.
Wednesday that an arrest warrant for femicide had been issued, but did not name the suspect. “We are carrying out all the pertinent procedures such as the Interpol alert and the request for extradition to the United States of America,” he said. “It’s about two Americans, the victim and the culprit.”
Outrage about Robinson’s death has been steadily mounting as new developments have incrementally emerged. Subsequent coverage of a local police report also added to the mystery by including details which differed to those in the autopsy. The law enforcement document said Robinson’s friends called for medical help at around 2:13 p.m on the day she died. A general practitioner from the American Medical Center was dispatched and foundalive. She was said to be dehydrated and gave a poor verbal response to medical personnel.
