A National Police Air Service helicopter, armed officers and dog units were all called into action after robberies were reported at the Failsworth Metrolink Stop.
Oldham Police say that three juvenile males were arrested earlier this morning in connection with the alleged robberies.
However, police are appealing for anyone with more information about the incidents to come forward. Oldham Police tweeted: "Officers from GMPTransportUnit, GMPDogs, Firearms, NPASNorthWest and divisional officers have responded to robberies at Failsworth Metrolink Stop."Three juvenile males have now been arrested. Police issued a CCTV appeal yesterday in connection with two knife-point robberies at the same tram stop.
