No one was injured in the altercation Friday afternoon at the Sun Valley Market.
MORGAN HILL – The search is on for an “armed and dangerous” suspect in a Morgan Hill shooting, police said.
At 4:38 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the Sun Valley Market at 16725 Monterey Road for a report of a shooting, the Morgan Hill Police Department said in a news release Monday. An investigation revealed several people were involved in a verbal altercation. At one point, a male youth brandished a handgun and fired one time at another person, police said.The youth ran across Monterey Road and into the Crossings at Morgan Hill apartment complex at 16800 Monterey Road, police said. Morgan Hill police officers and Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputies searched the area but did not find him.
