Police in Highland Park are asking for the public’s help as they try to find a “armed and dangerous” man who fired a gun at a family member in the presence of children last week in an apartment. Jakil Bryant ran from officers Wednesday morning after he was seen in the area of Magnolia Street and South 2nd Avenue,Bryant is 5-foot-8, 160 pounds and was wearing a black jacket or sweatshirt on Wednesday morning. He should not be approached, police said.
Anyone with information about his location or sees him is asked to call police at 732-572-3800 or dial 911. Callers can remain anonymous
