The driver veered into opposing traffic and struck another vehicle, but no one was injured.
Arlington police said Saturday they were investigating a car crash in which an 84-year-old driver died after apparently suffering a medical emergency.
Police said the man had been driving eastbound on Langston Boulevard near North Harrison Street at about 2:12 p.m. on Friday when he suffered “an apparent medical emergency” and then veered into the westbound lanes of traffic and struck another vehicle.Medics performed lifesaving measures at the scene and then transported the driver to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
The case remains under investigation. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
