Two outside lanes of southbound I-95 over Hendricks remain closed over the damaged area causing traffic to be shifted over to the left.
Photo from scene courtesy of Steve Shore.– The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said units were sent to investigate a collision along Hendricks Avenue at the I-95 overpass.
The collision appeared to involve a forklift, which was sitting under the overpass. A portion of the underside of the overpass appeared to have been damaged. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incident shut down all lanes of Hendricks at Naugle Way, but they have reopened. It’s unclear how long they would remain that way.
