Anthony Elanga has made the tough decision to leave Manchester United in order to find more regular playing time. After spending nine years at United, Elanga joined Nottingham Forest in a £15million deal. Despite the difficulty of leaving such a prestigious club, Elanga believes that joining Forest, a team on the rise, will provide him with the opportunity to grow and improve as a player.
Anthony Elanga has admitted it was a tough decision to leave Manchester United but one he ultimately made in search of more regular football.
Only seven of Elanga's 26 appearances last season came from the start and at 21, he decided it was time for a fresh challenge elsewhere. Leaving United was difficult and they are arguably the biggest club in the world but I have to think about what I want and how I see myself in the next few years growing and getting better every day.
