Bill Murray tells Eli Manning that his superpower in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is 'I'm a bad guy.'
Bill Murray says he’s playing a villain in Ant-Man 3. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly return to head up the third MCU movie featuring shrinking superheroes Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Plot details about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are of course shrouded in the same impenetrable veil of secrecy that surrounds everything MCU-related. But at least one interesting piece of information about the movie did leak out when Murray recently let it slip that he’s been cast to appear. No confirmation has yet come from Marvel as to Murray’s casting and when asked about the matter Rudd himself was entirely evasive.
If Murray is indeed playing a villain in Ant-Man 3, then Kevin Feige and company deserve a pat on the back, as it would certainly represent a major coup for them to convince the notoriously eccentric actor to take on such a role in an MCU movie.
What specific villain Murray might be playing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is obviously a matter of pure speculation. Of course Kang the Conqueror, a frequent Marvel bad guy, is already known to be in the movie with Jonathan Majors reprising his Loki role. Murray’s character presumably would be a secondary villain, possibly associated in some way with Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym.
