Anchorage’s in-person vote centers opened Monday for residents to cast their ballots in the April 4 regular city election. The city also has 18 secure drop boxes where voters can return their ballots until 8 p.m. on election day.

Anchorage’s in-person vote centers opened Monday for residents to cast their ballots in the April 4 regularWhile Anchorage uses a vote-by-mail system, it also has three in-person vote centers open to registered voters. So if your ballot has been lost or damaged, if you didn’t receive one, if you need assistance voting, or if you’d like to cast a vote in-person, you can stop by a vote center.
The centers will be open on weekdays through April 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; on Saturday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and on Sunday, April 2, from noon to 5 p.m. On Election Day, April 4, vote centers will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.• Loussac Library in Midtown; 3600 Denali St., in the Assembly chambers.
