Pharmaceutical firm AmerisourceBergen is subleasing its Carrollton office campus, which opened in 2019.
The entire building is now being offered for sublease to other office tenants, according to real estate information firm CoStar. The company is seeking to sublease between 75,000 and 300,000 square feet of space in the property, according to the real estate listing.
AmerisourceBergen constructed the building as one of the largest employment centers for the global drug distribution firm. Employees there previously worked at a large office in Frisco and a Richardson call center.The Pennsylvania-based company has announced hundreds of layoffs this year as it trims its international workforce. It has more than 44,000 employees worldwide.
Early this year, AmerisourceBergen announced that it is rebranding as Cencora following its 2022 purchase of Europe-based Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. AmerisourceBergen’s Carrollton office adds to an already huge supply of sublease office space on the market in North Texas.
