Sandy had competed on the show twice before, in Los Angeles during seasons 8 and 9.
Sandy had a ton of supporters from the Washington community cheering her on, as even the host said, “She’s a beloved figure here in the Northwest, so many have trained at her backyard course.” However, she had plethora of fans at home who called her a “hero” and “TOTALLY INSPIRATIONAL.”
