"I remember being in my Airbnb reading and going, 'I have to go back to the script, I have to learn my lines, but one more,'" Porter continued, as she also addressed Prioress, her character in the show. "Prioress is a smart bitch, she's damn smart. So I was just beyond grateful to – what's the expression? – wet my whistle, or be able to dial it in.
"She's a warrior, and then you're gonna see she's all these other things to get people to talk. They were just like, 'More, Adina! More!' And I was like, 'Alright, we're gonna go for it!'"
