Amen Thompson’s 2023 NBA Summer League is likely over.

The Houston Rockets’ rookie guard will miss two-to-three weeks after he suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain during a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday,Thompson, 20, will wear a boot for a week and is expected to miss the rest of Houston’s games in Las Vegas, per Spears.dazzled before his fourth-quarter injury, scoring 16 points with four rebounds, five assists, three steals and four blocks over 28 minutes.

And he wasn’t the only top pick with bad injury luck during Friday’s game at the Thomas & Mack Center. Scoot Henderson, the No. 3 overall pick, suffered a right shoulder injury in the third quarter after putting up 15 points and six assists.
