Amazon has planted its hobbit feet
Amazon’s decision to grant a second season before the first season premieres is not entirely unorthodox; Apple granted its marquee drama,a second season before the first debuted as well. And as Deadline notes, the move will mean fans will need to wait less time between the first season and its follow-up.
The new series will take place before J.R.R. Tolkien’s books; Amazon has yet to confirm the cast, but Deadline notes the roster reportedly includes
