'Amazing' Frenkie de Jong hailed by Dutch teammate Matthijs de Ligt as Man United plot deal MUFC
Matthijs de Ligt believes Manchester United have got a manager with a proven track record in improving players in Erik ten Hag, and could land an ‘amazing’ player as their first major summer signing.
The Juventus defender worked under the Dutch coach during their time together at Ajax, in which they managed to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League along with securing a league and cup double.De Ligt played under ten Hag at Ajax and had plenty of positive things to say about himready for the new season, with the club looking to improve on last season’s sixth place finish in the Premier League.
