The Olympic trials in the United States had fans in the stands, unlike the actual Games.
"I think the excitement from fans ... can really help you if you're feeling tired. It gives you a little extra oomph and momentum, so I thought about that," Raisman said."I wonder if at the Olympic trials, if they shouldn't have had fans at least for one day, but I know that everyone wants to make money, but I think it's important to get mentally prepared."
In an earlier statement, USA Gymnastics said that Biles would be"assessed daily to determine medical clearance for future competitions." Biles told TODAY that she wasn't sure she would compete in Thursday's all-around competition.
