The special edition model is based on the A110 R, which is already endowed with excellent performance figures. It can hit 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and will keep going all the way up to 177 mph on a long enough road, such as the Mulsanne straight.To make it even more stable at straights such as that one, the Alpine A110 R Le Mans has been equipped with suspension settings tuned specifically for high speeds.
Like the A110 R, the Le Mans edition has a carbon roof, wheels, monocoque, and Sabelt bucket seat. The limited edition model adds a carbon wing, to evoke the racecars that tackle the Circuit de la Sarthe every year. The model also comes with a unique livery. Painted white, a thin blue double racing stripe runs down the center of the car’s carbon components, and is complemented by blue fins on the rear wing. The blue theming is continued on the wheels with a piping strip around their perimeter.
