Mobile speed cameras are in place across the city
Mobile speed cameras have been set up by the West Yorkshire Police Camera Enforcement Unit on the behalf of the West Yorkshire Camera Partnership. These cameras are then set up in known casualty zones, which are areas identified by the police as being at risk of accidents
The cameras shine a laser at passing vehicles, which allows them to determine their speeds. They are designed to keep speeds down on roads to reduce accidents.These locations are accurate at the time of writing but are subject to change. Here are the speed camera locations across Leeds.
