However, it’s not the first time an islander has strutted into the villa, only to know someone already in there. Chuggs actually knew most people in that villa as well, as he’d previously matched with Lucinda Strafford on Tinder - and Chloe Burrows also said she knew him.
This wasn’t the case for Megan Barton Hanson and Alexandra Cane though, as when the reality stars took part in series four, nobody would have known they were mates. Both women nearly kissed in a music video, and Alexandra had even worked as a make-up artist on a shoot Megan did - but they acted like they'd never met in the villa.
And in 2019, Lucie Donlan was shocked when Arabella Chi walked into the villa as a bombshell, as both women had previously dated Charlie Fredrick. Unable to hide her shock, Lucie told Arabella: ‘I recognise you. You’re my ex’s ex. I’ve stalked you before!’ During that same series, it also transpired thatand Curtis Pritchard were familiar, as Curtis admitted that he’d previously slid into Maura’s DMs.
