All of the brands that have dropped Phillip Schofield amid ThisMorning affair scandal
As ITV continues to bear the brunt of the fallout following Phillip Schofield’ s fall from grace after he admitted to having an affair with a much younger colleague, another prominent part of Phil’s celebrity status that has taken a hit - is his portfolio of brand deals.
For five years, Phil was a staple of the brand’s advertising strategy, something which scooped him around £1million per year for starring in the adverts. However, the brand pulled their endorsement of Phil earlier this year and following the news of the affair last week, now appears to have since removed all previous traces of the collaboration from their website too.
But following the news of his affair, the brand has since pulled the wines from its website after receiving a slew of media questions about their continued association with the star. The Prince’s Trust Throughout his career, Phil also served as an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, a charity established by King Charles in 1976 to help support disadvantaged people under 30.
A Prince's Trust spokesperson said: “In light of Phillip's recent admissions, we have agreed with him that it is no longer appropriate to work together.” A spokesperson for the hospice said: “Phillip Schofield has not been an active patron since 2019 and therefore his patronage was formally ended earlier this year.
The organisation had previously featured a prominent message of support to Phil, which thanked him for his tireless work as an ambassador who promoted the charity’s goals.
