All Might learns a lesson from his own pupil.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Warning: Spoilers for My Hero Academia Ch. #397All Might's final battle is on in My Hero Academia, and in his effectively Quirkless state, he's having to take a few pages out of his student's books--but most of all, from Midoriya.
For the final battle, All Might has deployed for himself a suit of power armor, which has already shown it's equipped with abilities from many of the students of Class 1-A. He's already used technological imitations of Dark Shadow, Sugar Man, and Cellophane, among others, proving that he was learning from his students as much as they were learning from him.
All Might's Quirkless Fighting Draws From Midoriya's Tactics Way back in the beginning of the series, in the Battle Trial arc which saw the students pit against one another as heroes or villains, Deku had only just received One for All, and still wasn't able to control it well. When confronted with an angry Bakugo playing a villain, Deku realized he couldn't risk using his Quirk, as his lack of control could result in Bakugo's death.
As All Might himself says, he can't rely on these mechanical supplements too much, in the same way Deku couldn't rely on One for All at that stage. It's simply too risky to use the support items too much, as All Might has seen first hand. Much like how Deku lured Bakugo in close, All Might has managed to draw All for One to him in the same way.
All Might's strategy for fighting without a Quirk is certainly an interesting one, and it just goes to show that the teacher can learn from the student just as well as the reverse. With his power armor and Deku's strategy, All Might actually stands a chance against the strongest Quirk user in My Hero Academia's history.
