9 Cate's Mom Looking For Her Missing Brother The first memory seen in Cate's head occurs almost as soon as the gang arrives, with them noticing a woman walking through the woods with a police officer. The woman turns out to be Cate's mother, with her looking for Cate's missing brother. A young version of Cate appears, with it being revealed that Cate accidentally used her powers to cause her brother to go missing.
7 Dean Shetty Visiting Cate At Her Home The next memory picks up several years later, with a now college-aged Cate sitting in her bedroom. The large metal door to her room is swung open by her hesitant mother, allowing Dean Shetty to enter. Dean Shetty offers Cate some Vought pills that will help her control her powers, with her telling the young supe about Godolkin University.
4 Jordan Interrupting Golden Boy's Meeting With Coach Brink After running away from Golden Boy, the team finds themselves outside of Coach Brink's office. They enter, seeing Golden Boy angrily confronting Coach Brink. Right as Golden Boy seems to prepare to kill Brink, Jordan steps in, knocking Golden Boy unconscious. It soon becomes clear that this is Jordan's memory, not Cate's, surprising the entire group.
