These wallet-sized cards contain what could be life-saving information. All funded thanks to RosemereCF
Should patients become ill, the purse-friendly credit card sized cards alert health professionals to the signs and symptoms of chemotherapy side-effects and complications, which in rare cases may be life-threatening.The charity has previously funded the cards but as the cancer centre’s chemotherapy unit treats 300 patients per week, approximately 30 of which are new patients, stocks had run low enough to need another print run.
The charity funds cutting-edge equipment, clinical research, staff training and innovative services and initiatives that the NHS cannot afford in order to make patients’ cancer journey more effective, comfortable and stress-free.
