BREAKING: AlecBaldwln____ has reached a settlement in a civil case related to the death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of 'Rust' roughly a year ago. MariaLeaf reports.
"Throughout this difficult process, everyone has maintained the specific desire to do what is best for Halyna’s son. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the resolution of this tragic and painful situation," Baldwin said in a statement posted to his official Instagram account. As part of the settlement, filming on the movie will resume in January 2023 with Halyna's husband Matthew Hutchins in an executive producer role. The original cast is scheduled to return, according to a report. “I have no interest in engaging in recriminations or attribution of blame ,” Matthew Hutchins said in a statement. “All of us believe Halyna’s death was a terrible accident. I am grateful that the producers and the entertainment community have come together to pay tribute to Halyna’s final work.
Baldwin, who fired a prop gun which contained a real bullet killing Halyna Hutchins on the movie set has maintained his innocence.
