One of the staples at Alabama chef Kelsey Barnard Clark's family dinner table during the holidays was – and still is -- her grandmother June Mayson’s squash casserole, which calls for a very specific ingredient.
“All of their recipes -- I used to always laugh about this, especially when I was writing my cookbook -- they wouldn’t even say ‘mayonnaise,’” Clark says. “It was just ‘Hellmann’s.’
