Katoshia Brown was arrested as she arrived to work just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023.
An Alabama prison worker was arrested Wednesday morning after authorities say she tried to bring a cell phone into the facility.
Brown was searched prior to reporting to her designated work area, according to Alabama Department of Corrections officials. She was found to be in possession of a contraband cell phone.
