William Thornton | [email protected] police say Roddrecuz Winston, 29, is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on $60,000 bond.

On Wednesday, an officer patrolling the area of Cox Creek Parkway and Chisholm at about 10 a.m. saw a stalled vehicle. But the vehicle stalled again and was parked at Fairgrounds Park. The driver, later identified as Winston, was taken to the Salvation Army. Police later received a call from the actual owner of the stalled vehicle, saying that it had been stolen from his residence.
