Al Roker doesn’t think he’d be alive right now if it weren’t for the care and love of his wife, Deborah Roberts.he had been hospitalized for blood clots in his legs and lungsThe TV personality exclusively told Page Six at the Hudson River Friends 7th Annual Playground Committee Luncheon that, right now, he’s “just so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and prayers and of course, my wife Deborah. I wouldn’t be alive without her.”“I guess I know it now,” he confessed.
Locked out, Roberts tried to smash the reinforced glass window on the front side of the car with the help of a neighbor outside their Upper East Side home. Unsuccessful, Roberts took a taxi to meet up wth her husband. “Al was taken from his home in a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital, he improved,” the eyewitness told us.
