It's the second time this season that the Dutch giants have put an Ajax game on hold for fan involvement.
Struggling Ajax saw their match with Utrecht suspended TWICE as tensions with the fans reached boiling point once again.
It leaves the Dutch giants with just two wins in 12 matches and languishing in 17th place in the table. Play was suspended with the game level at 3-3 by referee Dennis Higler after a plastic cup was thrown onto the pitch. The first suspension led to eight minutes of added time with the game level at 3-3. The home side then scored the winner, sparking a second protest from the travelling support and forcing the man in the middle to suspend play again.
