Conditions in Anchorage are expected to be sunny, dry and cold for much of next week, and aurora activity will be slightly elevated this weekend before ramping up at the end of October.

Some “spotty snow showers” were possible beginning Tuesday night through Thursday, but Sprinkles said she didn’t foresee significant accumulation. High temperatures are expected to hover around freezing throughout the Anchorage Bowl throughout most of the week, with lows in the teens.
