Adrien Brody to star in Stephen King-based 'gothic horror' TV series Jerusalem's Lot
tale to call his own. The actor, a favorite of director Wes Anderson, will star in a TV series adaptation of the author’s short story “Jerusalem’s Lot” for Epix., but it was later re-released as part of an illustrated edition ofand is seen as a prequel of sorts to King’s famous vampire story. It’s told through a series of letters and diary entries, mainly from Captain Charles Boone.
“This series is an intense, absolutely terrifying reimagining of classic gothic horror,” Epix President Michael Wright said in a statement. “We can’t wait to work with the exceptional team of Donald De Line and Jason and Peter Filardi, along with our phenomenal lead actor, Adrien Brody… and of course, when it comes to horror, it doesn’t get any better or more masterful than Stephen King. We’re thrilled to be the home to this incredible show.
