Lawyers for Anderson Lee Aldrich, who identifies as nonbinary and uses the pronoun they according to a filing by their attorney, waived a reading of the charges against them during the five-minute hearing. Police said earlier this week that Mx. Aldrich, their preferred title, was arrested on five counts of first-degree murder and hate-crimes charges.
