And they seem to like seeing Muir in a state of seeming constant world travel. In February, Muir reported from Afghanistan on the increasingly intense fight against ISIS, and was in Washington the very next night to anchor ABC's coverage of the State of the Union. Wrapped in Vietnam, Muir quickly diverted to Alabama, where he anchored the newscast Monday night and covered the communities shaken and lives lost by a series of devastating tornadoes that touched down Sunday.
