Odell Beckham Jr. signed a contract to promote Pedialyte for adults
on social media, and new flavors have been introduced that are more appealing to the adult palate.
“I really want to use my creative juices, and this gives me a chance to broaden my business side,” Beckham says during a break while rehabbing his injured hip ahead of the Browns’ season opener Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. “I’m confident in me. I have an edge about myself; the same edge that I bring to a team or anything I do. I’m going to bring that to Pedialyte.”
The partnership kicks off Friday with a marketing campaign in the backyard of Beckham’s former home. It also features a towering digital billboard in the middle of Times Square showing a sunglasses-clad Beckham without his signature mop of blond hair and reading: “New Team. Who Dis?” That is followed by Beckham’s OBJ moniker and a photo of the Pedialyte Advanced Care blend, which contains 33% more electrolytes than the standard version. The campaign will run over the next week in Times Square.
