HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series didn’t end without an interesting anecdote from Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers said he saw a UFO while he was at Levy’s NJ home in 2005.“We saw this incredibly large object and froze like anybody would. Eventually, it went out of sight and nobody said a word. We stood frozen, the three of us, on the front stoop of Steve’s house. About 30 seconds later, we heard the real recognizable sound of fighter jets…that seemed to be chasing this object. And again, we just stood there in disbelief for another few minutes.
“Nobody said a word. And then we all kind of looked at each other saying ‘Did we just see what we think we just saw?’” Rodgers described the three of them later went back inside and tried to go to sleep, but that proved difficult due to the experience.They looked into newspapers in the following days and for any news online about the incident.The siren, Rodgers said, came from a nuclear power plant about nine miles away from Levy’s home, where he noted UFOs are often spotted, along with volcanoes and nuclear energy.“Steven and I – great friends, teammates, and also witnessed whatever the hell it was.
The Jets are set to begin their season on Sept. 11 against the Bills at MetLife Stadium — though it’s not known if any UFOs will be doing any flybys.
