A woman was shot Saturday morning while driving with her boyfriend in north Houston.
Authorities responded to a shooting at 12:45 a.m. Saturday in front of a residence at 2100 Conklin St.The two had been driving from a store and were returning to the residence when they were shot, officials said. When they arrived, a white pickup truck drove by them and shot at the vehicle with a rifle.
The suspect then fled, according to Metro Video.“Thankfully no one else was hit but she was hit while she was sitting in the driver’s seat and it went through her torso,” said Lt. Ronnie Willkens in an interview with ONSCENE.TV.“Hopefully she’s going to live. She’s in critical condition getting surgery right now so prayers for her,” Willkens said.
